Technology has brought much advancement in our world from computers to handle our daily life easier to ticket booking system which allows us to make reservations from the comfort of our home. But with these innovation comes a creeping fear of getting hacked or losing access to our bank account. Just imagine the day when you open your phone to log in on Instagram and found out you have already been hacked and some scary shit is being posted on your account which is open for the world to see from your family to your boss

I know what a majority of you will think that you guys are secure you think before clicking on a link, you have an antivirus to protect from spyware or you know about social engineering or you have 100 character password yes there is a chance that you can still be hacked. Because not all hacks happen on your part some happen because of the website you create an account on. Some hackers over the course if years were successful in hacking some major site and gaining access to there users account credentials and majority of people use the same password which lets a hacker gain access to there entire life in a matter of second. The biggest problem with these breaches is that their data is freely available on the entire deep web it is sold for as little as 20$ for the entire database

Paste = A "paste" is information that has been "pasted" to a publicly facing website designed to share content such as Pastebin. These services are favored by hackers due to the ease of anonymously sharing information and they're frequently the first place a breach appears.

Breached sites = An actual website being hacked and its database being stolen and publicly available in dark web or sometimes available in indexed internet


  Now the question arises how to protect 
  yourself from these security breaches


1. Subscribe to HIBP website to get updates if you get hacked
2. Use a different password for different accounts(Reduces the chance of multiple hacking)3. Use 2fa (Two-factor authentication)
4. Pay attention (Be updated with tech world to know what is happening)5. Regularly change your password
